Description of the workshop – This seminar was conducted by Mrs Shailaja, Art director, Varna Creative Designing Solutions, Bangalore, for BVA students of all departments. The field expert explained the importance of different types of software, tools and different types of techniques in software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel draw, In-design, etc. In two weeks of the workshop resource person made them do movie posters, Texture Paintings, Patter designs, character designing, 3d modelling and all the students were involved very much in the workshop and learned all the above software related techniques along with the understanding of technicality and the work process of designing with different media and software.
Details of the resource person- Mrs Shailaja. S had been passionate about Art, Designing and Animation since her childhood and kept on experimenting a lot. Her specialization in designing and advertising, lead her to start her own design studio. She teaches software like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, CorelDraw, UI/UX, Adobe XD, Adobe Animate, Premiere Pro, After Effects, 3D Max, Flash, AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Advanced Excel and many more. She has worked as a resource person for various programmes like Communication for Development and Learning (CDL), Taking Local Issues and Presenting through Cartoon and comics, Conducted by People’s Rural Education Movement (PREM) Berhampur, Orissa. Training Programme on Cartoons and Communication.
